I started this record on April 8th 2020 as a bit of fun. I wanted to see how long it would take some banana peel to biodegrade in my garden. For comparison, I placed some satsuma peel and an apple core alongside it too. (See video below)
Day 2
As expected, not much change overnight.
The banana peel is least obvious because it is black as the soil but all of the rubbish is just a bit dried up.
Day 3
As the soil dries out the banana skin becomes more obvious again. The apple core is shrivelling up.
Day 4 (See Day 3 really apart from the cherry tree which I've included just for a bit of variety)
Day 5
Another sunny day drying out the rubbish but no visible decay.
Day 6
